The November 2 meeting of the Green County Genealogical Society will be “Remembering Our Veterans”. A video presentation “Discover Your Military Ancestors” by Amy Johnson Crow will help you find sources to discover your ancestor’s military service. We will also discuss using the National Archives (NARA) to find and receive records of your military ancestors. Have you explored our local “Veteran’s Memorial”? The Green County Historical Society will have a display of veteran memorabilia. Lynn Lokken, who is a member of both societies, will be sharing the history and meaning of several of the items. Join us to remember and honor our veterans.
