RCGS all-day Genealogy Conference

Each year, with the proceeds from our all-day Genealogy Conference, RCGS creates two $1,000 local scholarship grants for deserving high school graduates. This year on Saturday, October 5, 2024, between 9 AM and 4 PM, we have 4 presentations from three local speakers:

  • Building & Using Genealogical Timelines for Research - Ruth Anderson, RCGS Librarian & Archivist
  • Agricultural Genealogy, I & II - Michael Roach, Korean War Veteran, Tech Firm Manager, and Casual Historian
  • It's Time to Sell Another Steer (Building a Lasting Family History Legacy) - Bill Mueller, Author, Genealogist, and Storyteller

There are three ways for registered participants to watch: 

  • Attend in person (see below), or
  • View the live Zoom presentation from home on your PC, Tablet, or Smartphone, or
  • View the recorded videos of all 4 presentations online later, at the Past Speakers' Video Webpage.
